Default intercooler cover

a mate of mine took my intercooler off yesterday and spent an hour straightening all the fins, looked new when he finished.

so to try and keep it working well i made this cover today, what do you think?

will that block more air then it will let through?

no, the picture makes it look that way but its quite a fine mesh.

also has angled fines on the mesh should draw the air in

Looks good ,you have just reduced your airflow by about 40%

Mate looks OK,but this is not upgrade,just downgrade of your IC.

like i said, its a very fine mesh with angled fins so i cant see it reducing air flow by that much

Last time I straightened mine I used a shed load of wooden cocktail sticks
