Default Front spotlights being knicked

Hi all, Do our cars attract scum!? Reason I ask is that I woke
this morning to find out some lowlife has knicked my
front spotlight and left the wiring dangling out from the bumper.
My other spotlight has a big stone chip but that is still on the
car.
Just wondering if this is has happened to any others?
Any suggestions to what to do as if I replace it soon it might
get knicked again.
Petty thieves.

Thanks

Now that does surprise me I thought they would have been stolen from where you used to live.

I hate thieving scum!

I've got 2 sets of fogs sitting in the shed that fitted my 98-00 front bumper. You can have a set FOC if you cover the postage.

Yep, a while back I had front indicators and repeaters nicked and the car heavily keyed by some scumbag in a good area of Bristol. Still, good excuse to fit a P1 front bumper and spot covers instead.....

Of course police really weren't interested in this, other than giving me a crime reference - in direct contrast to their swift appearance when some student decided to do a spot of car running and I collared one of their mates. When plod arrived I was holding a very scared student by the wrist with one hand and had a broomstick in the other. They were less than impressed. Useless *****.

LOL someone hit one of my old cars in a transit (Not just a bump, 3 crumpled panels) then they drove off before any details were had......i reported it to the police who didnt really seem to care.....they did then give me a 7 day producer when i reported it....but rang me few days later saying the case was being closed as there wasnt much they could do....so i didnt go back iwith my docs, but i did speak to them a few days after just checking there was nothing left to do....which was when i had my rights read to me and recieved a police caution for not providing my docs!!! would have been better off if id never in reported the crime!!

Why didn't you report it higher up ? make a complaint or nothing happens ?

Go to the papers and tell your story, anything that will annoy a reader is good news to have !

I had my crystal indicators pinched out of the front bumper, when the car was parked on the drive - The muppets forgot to take the silvatec bulbs though

I've gone back to standard now, and never had a problem since..

off on a tangent i know....where i used too live there was a communal car park.3 young dicks in a car were reving the engine...my daughter playing in the back garden and next thing this car comes half way through fence and would have been in garden if hadnt been for the fir trees.my daughter was only 5 and scared life out of her.i was over the 6 foot fence in flash.landed on car bonnet..dragged the driver and gave him a thumping....all the neighbours were out.i held him down until cops got there .first thing he said"who slotted the kid"....i said"steering wheel and my fence iguess ask the witness"......what a joke...no insurance ,mot under age and all the y got was slap on wrist and a ban...cost me a new fence and having see em walking about...bit random i know ...just an example of our superb justice system

It was few years back now, i did throw a bit of a wobbly in the station but they were writing down every word i said as it was after they said 'is there anything you wish to say' bit, so i kinda knew i was only gonna get myself into more trouble so kept quiet and left asap.
LOL it was around the time that there was lots in the media about police wanting payrises...my rant which they wrote down went along the lines of them not deserving it haha.

Spotlights? Or foglights?

If it's the latter, or even the former, and they are, like mine, held in with three bolts, remove one bolt, measure it, then get some security bolts the same size from Screwfix, available for a couple of quid and in stainless.

Mine have TWO different types, just to further deter thieves
