Default afr all over the place

I went to have my bugeye remaped again the other day, But on the rollers it went off the scale rich.

This was not an issue the previous month when i had it last remaped,

My mapper sugested it could be either the lamdber sensor or air meter, But said its more likely to be the lambder sensor,

This does not flag up on the the dash...

As the cost of a new part is over £200 just to see if this does the trick, Has anyone got any secondhand units??

Its the first sensor....

Thanx

Not sure what closed loop is, but while the first sensor is working up to 3600 rpm its off the scale rich. He had a wide band in the exhaust witch pulled this up.

When I have my Bugeye mapped with Bob Rawle he checks the outputs from the MAF and from the Lambda to check they are behaving themselves.

He has a stock of spares on his shelf and if the outputs from the sensors are spurious then he offers to replace the sensors before mapping as necessary........

By "wideband in the exhaust" do you mean a wideband sensor screwed into the exhaust pipe or stuck up the back box??
