Ferrari or Lamborghini..... decisions decisions?????
Hi everyone!!
I have been given a driving experience day to drive either a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin or an Audi R8....
Now I am kinda settled between the Ferrari or Lamborghini just on the basis that they are both 2 cars that i perhaps ever wont drive in my life - so my question being...
Which one do i go for????????????????????????????
Would be very interested to hear peoples opinion or experiences??????
Thanks guys!!
Andy

And where and what else is included must be a factor, I did the 355 day at Silverstone, always loved the 355 which is why my Mrs choose that for me but I also got to learn in an exige and had a hot lap with a manic in a supercharged exige which was quick to say the least.

My misses bought me a similar day for my birthday last year as i had always wanted to drive (and own) a Lambo, but mine was driving 3 cars starting with a Porsche Cayman (gutless but handled ok),Ferrari F430 and a Murcie LP640.
I had never really liked Ferrari's but tbh,it was a really big surprise when i drove it and i loved the car.
The Lambo was a bit of a disappointment though,i was expecting it to be massively fast, and whether it was because it was on track or for some other reason,it really didn't feel that quick, and it is a huge car and feels really heavy.
Each to their own,and as already stated,it depends which models you've got the option of?
Still fancy driving a Gallardo aswell just as a fair comparison .

Hey everyone!
Thanks all for the replies so far, just thought id update you on where i am with it now....
Iv been looking and from what i can gather - dependant on location there is a lambo gallardo, murcagliao or a ferrari 360 modena/spyder (only going by pic and my limited knowledge with the ferrari though as it doesnt actually specify which model??????)
but from what most of you are saying - its the Lambo anyway yes????
woo-hoo!!! Im quite interested to see how much difference there is between one of those and my own scooby too!!??????

My son drove the Lambo at Silverstone last month. He was very disappointed as it has dual control and his "instructor" was clearly allowing his drivers a lot less performance than the drivers in the other cars. The 355 was a fairly ropey example.
Overall it would have been better if he hadn't been given this as a gift, the organisation that runs it is so complacent and badly organised, but when so many people receive these as gifts the can afford to.

I'm off to Silverstone for my 'experience' in a Gallardo tomorrow.
Mind you, nothing will beat my drive around Moanaco in a 360 Spyder Through the tunnel in 3rd doing a ton, the sound was unbelievable

My day was at Thruxton and i was sceptical as to how they would let you drive the cars, but if you listen all the time to the instructors and show that you understand, they did let me push the car's pretty hard to be fair.
Maybe at a bigger circuit like Silverstone they are very complacent??

Well if you've not yet decided, go for the Gallardo. An absolutely fantastic car to drive. I've never cornered so fast in my life
The instructor was brilliant, gave great advice and really encouraged me to hit the loud pedal
And the best sounding out of the 3 cars running (Gallardo, 360 and a Vantage) was definitely the V8 of the Vantage. What an incredible piece of music

Out of those choices...............the Lambo as (IMO) it's more of a 'driver's car' BUT..........
I did a driving 'experience' two days ago in both an Aston Martin DB9 and a Nissan GTR and if I were you, I would try and swap the day to the GTR.......it was F-C-U-K-I-N-G A-W-E-S-O-M-E
I cannot recommend the GTR enough and even the instructors at the track said it was the best car there!
