Default front brake pads

hey quick one guys how much you reckon fitted for a decent set of front brake pads on my 04 sti, also dont want to sound like a retard but my front tyres have worn really heavily on the inside edge so i gotta replace them but should i do the brakes first because surely once the wheels have been alligned after tyre fitting they will need to be re alligned because the wheels have come off to fit the pads. Please feel free to call me a retard obviously you can see that i am not a mechanic!

Wheels don't need re-aligning just because the wheels are removed/refitted or the brakes for that matter.

Give me a call on 01462 488244. Can save you a bunch on brakes with everything from OEM spec, Performance Friction, Ferrodo, Mintex and now EBC, prices start at just £39.99.

The choice of pad will depend on the user. We also do EBC Yellowstuff pads (just not uploaded to website just yet).

Hi
The two options I would go for at a sensible price would be either the new EBC bluestuff pads , we have had these on test for a month or so and find them very good , good from cold , and can take some real serious heat when driving spiritedly , I have given them a right caning in this time and found them to be very good , we have these in stock now.

The second choice would be the Performance Friction z rated pads , these also perform very well , I dont think the cold performance is as good as the EBC's though.

If you wish to discuss your options , please ring me on 01656 723060 , all I do is brakes here , nothing else , so can help in the right choice for you

Cheers Ian

Best to give us a call, PFs and Bluestuff pads are good but may not be what you need.
