number plate worth anything

Default number plate worth anything

alright guys and gals

will be selling my scooby as its just an ornament these days. but it has a reg of x555 srt was wondering if this would be worth putting on retention and selling seperate from the car. not sure how much it would be worth or if it is worth trying to sell it

any advice greatly recieved

Costs something like £80 assignment upfront plus £25 retention IIRC on a plate worth £250 Unless you keep for yourself because you like it, sell it with the car as it may add £100 to the value of at least help the sale. For the faff of buying new plates etc I wouldn't bother changing back.

oh well thankyou had hoped it might have been worth something with it being close to the old rally plates. never mind it will be sold on the beast

It might well be ? but 555 plates are dirt cheap, SRT might add a bit ? put it up for sale see what feelers you get, but I doubt anyone will pay top dollar in a hurry

S555 WRT (S55 SWRT) is £399 X555 WRT (X55 SWRT) is £499 and Y555 WRT (Y55 SWRT) is £399 all from DVLA with no other costs.
