What do you drive now? You used to be one of the Spec C owners here?

1995-2010, ending tomorrow when it's picked up by it's new owner.

Inspired by McRae, in 1995 I would pay
For a classic, and never look back.
I remember my first meet, when was that ... '98
January in Aberdeen, so many Scoobs I'd never seen.
The first Tour de Ecosse was a blast, Oct 98 and it went fast,
We ran them for years, they were always a blast.
The years have since passed, by 2003 is was an Sti
And sad to say at last, in 2010 it's bye bye.

Average ode I know but hey :-)

Been great, thanks for the contributions and loads of help in the original forums, these forums, SIDC, the lot.
Particular thanks to those who helped organise the Scottish SIDC in 98, as recorded in True Grip V1,I2 (yes I still have it)
John Stewart
Mark Palmer
Miles Atkinson

Cheers.

Have fun in those cars,

M.

Hi,I sold the Spec C and bought a sensible car a BMW 535d M Sport.Problem was I didnt do enough miles in it to warrant cheaper motoring (and it was far too sensible) although it had every imaginable extra it was a DIESEL.I kept that for 5 months then px'd it Saturday just gone with an immaculate stage 1 tuned Audi RS6 Avant.I needed something completely uneconomical and brash to satisfy my needs and this fitted the bill perfectly. It is an absolute monster

Although i like the Spec C and own one, the RS6 is quite a different animal! Guess you won't be back then.

With an Audi you'll fit really well into the Pistonheads forum.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out BTW.
