looks a nice motor and the damage wouldn't bother me in the slightest, at least he has been honest, and not just said the usual crap of just needed a bumper when the front could have been ripped off! im not up on bmw prices, what is he offering on the part ex?

£7k?! I doubt it. My mates just bougt a minter of a 330ci for less than that. The whole M3 lookalike thing would put me off too...
Sounds like you're set on it though, so go for it.

If it worries you, it will probably worry many prospective purchasers you find in the future. Plus if you find a future car you want at a dealer, and need to p x, that option will potentially be taken away. Have second hand M3 parts been used to repair the damage? If thats the case, it's not going to be an approved repair.

pretty much on the money there imo, also as has been said if it worries you then it is going to be the same old story if you want to sell it on, that said though, if you wanted a decent car for cheap money then as long as the repair is done properly then its a winner for me. ideal situation though is to keep hold of the car though, but who does that?
