Hawkeye spec c.....
With the ever changing emission laws after the new current saloon I doubt we will see another true petrol Impreza.
I have driven many Impreza including the current hatch spec c R205 ,but no car has give me the same satisfaction as the hawk eye spec c in terms of performance, design and all out rawness.
Is the hawk eye spec c going to be somewhat of a classic like the 98/99/00 three door type r?
For me it's the best Impreza ever to roll of the production line
I find myself struggling to share the same enthusiasm for the current models and feel as though my love affair with the Impreza is terminal.
Is it just me who feels like this?

Stage one your looking at £500 for remap £1000 for turbo back exhaust (£500 for a used one) and labour £150.
Stage two with litcho's bolt on turbo will be circa 4k just depends on what extra's you go for. Best of giving Ian a call he will run you through it all better than me.
And congrats on your new buy get some pics up fella!

From: 1600cc's of twin scroll fun :)
You wont need a fmic until you hit 400bhp+, so depends where the car came from originally, Litchfields will all be remapped so getting another remap will cost you much less as you wont have to pay for the license, a full exhaust as Immy said, panel filter and depends on who maps it, your looking at anywhere between 350/350 to 360/390.

Lucko,
See my project thread here for info on "straight forward" mods for the JDM STI's....

Juggers,
Not sure your thoughts are totally founded..... let's wait and see how the new 2.5 boxer engine fairs. If it has been designed right and sorted out the issues with the current 2.5 engine, this could just what we always wanted!!

All manufacturers have to get through that "pain barrier" & come up with something that performs well with low CO2. Some can be arsed & others can't. I hope Subaru get through it as I just Imprezas R205 for me pls Juggers

A lot of emission laws will be over come with the introduction of direct injection engine very soon. If I was in the market for a new STi then a wee wait may ease some pain on tax, emissions etc
