Default advanced driving techniques

i have been lucky enough to be granted permission onto my local airfield for some ken block style driving. a mate of mine with an evo has told me i have to use the clutch when i use the handbrake. is this rite ?

Unless you have dccd you cant use the handbrake without a good chance of causing damage to your diff....

so i do have to engage the clutch to use handbrake then. hmm
can i just left foot brake instead.
