To buy or not to buy
Hi all im a newbie here im looking at tryin to buy a Subaru Impreza 2.0gx sport awd estate 2004 model.
What i would like to know is if its worth buyin or is ther a better model. also some spec info on it BHP / MPG ETC and what mods can be done to give it more BHP.
Cant afford to insure a turboat the moment so thats that out the window lol

Have you a specific reason for wanting a Wagon over a saloon?
I had a GX Sport before the Classic, great motor, very reliable, in fact very very reliable!
Not too quick though, but a good start!

After you've declared your mods on a sport it may be just as cheap to run a standard uk turbo - i was quite surprised how much cheaper it was to insure a uk over an import, and similarly a wagon over a saloon too.
Get yourself a few quotes first and go from there, best of luck!!

hi the reason for a estate is cause me and the misses take her nicee and nefews out some times soboot space is good.
Igota quote for a 2003 2.0 estate and it was £800 got a quote for a y reg 2.0 turbo uk model and it was £2467.
Big different in price.
I also found out that my vectra has more bhp than the estate :O

If you want bhp then you are looking in the wrong place. You've already said your Vectra has more power.
Personally i'd be looking for a decent TD and save my pennies for a Turbo somewhere down the line
