WRX on Wheeler Dealers
Not sure if it has been posted previously, but if not the new series of Wheeler Dealers features the 'Subaru WRX' next week.
The show is scheduled for Tuesday November 2 at 9pm on Discovery Real Time channel and is normally repeated later in the evening.
The programme details don't give any clue as to what model they are covering, but may be of interest to those on here.

Anyone see mike brewers new series in afganistan on discovery Monday at 10pm think it was called battlefront machines
basically imagine mike and his ever increasing chubby face doing what Ross kemp done whilst shooting guns and mortars and talking about the vehicles they use
was actually really good and fair play to him (he was bricking it!!!)

i'm the other way round, would gladly go out for a drink with Mike and have a laugh but i'd probably end up smacking Edd in the gob, don't know why but he just gets on my ****.

What about the other guy that helps Ed who never says a thing? Does he do all the work really or is he Ed's or Mikes gimp that they get out of a box now and again

I'm not a big fan of Ed either to be honest. The programme is a bit like a car crash. You know you shouldn't look but you just can't help it.
I've lost count of the number of cars they've bodged up.
My previous car was a Pug 205 GTi. One forum I (still) go on has banned anyone from even mentioning this programme due to the outright bodge job they did on the GTi they had.
I'm not looking forward to the WRX programme at all......................But I will watch it.

What was the bodge they did on the 205, they seemed to repair it just fine to me & put it back to standard after some gimp had lowered it badly, fitted a gash aftemarket steering wheel & gear ****.
Mike & Edd seem to come across well to me, yes its all a bit staged, but so is the xfactor & plenty more people watch that pap.

i dont mind watching a bit of wheeler dealers,got to admit though if you take all the hours that ed puts into the cars doing them up,they dont make fekk all out of them.

I think the reason they don't include Edd's labour costs is because the premise of the show is that the mechanicals can be done at home. That said, Edd has some expenive, specialised tools that most people don't have at home.

Most of the work Edd carries out is on a 4 poster lift. Last time I looked in my garage, all I could see was a freezer and a drum kit.
I enjoy Wheeler Dealers personally, it is so staged it isnt true!

I also swear I saw Edd China in my local Co-op buying a big cheap bottle of vod. Probably to blur the lines of integrity they step over when bodging the cars they buy and sell!

How can anyone 'Like' Mike?? He is a complete bellend that knows NOTHING about cars which he has clearly shown on many occasions.
Edd to me just acts a bit for the show but seems a sound guy.

When somone lends them there pride and joy and he ends up power sliding the thing around a track!!
There was this one guy with a silver 928 (think) Porsche and it was Porsches show example at museums and shows etc and he twatted it around the track.

The top gear chaps do the same. I expect the owners of the cars that Mike drives are fully aware of the way he is going to drive & will have signed a disclaimer. I dont know how anyone can hate him unless they have met him & got a good idea of the sort of bloke he really is. He comes across as a cheeky cockney car sales man, but I expect that is his TV persona, he won't have got as far as he has without a bit of nouse. Personally, I like his presenting style & would rather watch Mike & Edd than some attention ***** on the X Factor....
