Yes, I've heard the defi guages are very popular and highly rated. I like the idea of using a boost guage that's not got to have the hose come through to the cockpit as the one shown above has the sensor on a short hose T off, and is supposed to be very accurate. I like the look of the Drift Iridium guages, and have checked their spec is good, so I'll try the boost guage in a week or so when I have time to get it organised/fitted and post my findings.

thank you

Tim

I personally wouldn't use digital, i can't see them being as acurate, might be completely wrong though.

Thanks

Can it be set up to read in Bar ??

My old boost guage is in the garage as I got fed up of trying to divide by 14.7 LOL

digital ones will be more accurate as they can work in lower increments. it's like having the choice of an analogue or digital pressure gauge for a spray gun, which do you think is best?

- 30 In. Hg./30 psi
- Large easy to read numerals with full sweep
- Electric sender
- Blue / Red digital display
- Includes fitting kit

digital technology within this gauge gives it 100% accuracy.
The above blurb is quoted from the manufacturer. I have access to calibrated off car equipment that I can use in tandem verify the the claim, and know consumer law pretty well lol, but aside from that I like the appearance of this range of guages.

I'll be a guinea pig, and post up the install and resulting degree of happy smiley demeanour, once I have got the boost guage delivered and fitted. Hopefully next weekend.

Thanks a bundle

Tim

OK, got the guage and pod ordered, I'll get it fitted probably next weekend and post a new thread with the fitting and impressions of the guage once up and running with a few pictures of that process if anyone's interested.

many thanks for all the input

Caraudiosecurity.com They had just one blue one left in stock, was trying to order from Edge performance but they were not answering their phone so missed out lol. Not that it's the order of the century but every little helps in these times of austerity and I'm likely to buy again from a supplier if treated right in the first instance lol. I ordered a pod from scoobyparts, they were as always, on the ball.
