Hi guys need abit info, has anyone got or tried a comp stage one clutch, i'm looking to upgrade the clutch, as the standard, has started to slip, but have been advised that it may slightly judder in first gear and its a heavier pressure plate, but all other gears will be fine. Has any member here tried this clutch and can give me some advise, I like to drive hard sometimes, however not always, and would this be a good upgrade for launching, or is the std on fine. Plus next year or so i would like to have the car running around 350bhp or so, is this ok on a std clutch or not as it will wearout quicker?

i got a stage 2 for someone and it is fine and doesn't judder. my stage 4 paddle does judder if you don't feed it in right, takes a bit to get it right but fine now and has taken 430bhp, the stage 2 is being used on a 300ish classic and has been fine with some heavy driving
