Ok m8 jack car up & on the rear wheel put your hand right up the rear wheel arch, and I think you will find a big hole check both sides as the scoobs are known for it waters get in there and in to the sill am sure that your swooshing, only know this as my m8 car was doing it and he never welded plates so it got worse and worse that bad the shells of to the scrappy. The bad smell m8 is it stale water ???
Hope this solves it m8.

So you lot when buying a scoob dont just check what the wheels look like and how many clocks its got, get hand up its rear archers and save your self alot of hassel and money, 6/10 will be rotten through

Have you got a dead animal under one of the wheelarches, rabbit or something like that. Happened to me in my early motoring days and the car stunk

Do you hear the sloshing noise when revving and the car is parked? Its probably the aircon system that needs looked at.

1. Bad smell - pollen filter.
2. Check for dead animals under the plastic cover over the wiper mechanism.
3. Water sounds are partial air lock in the heater matrix... ?

dunx

P.S. Or you smell bad, and are leaking pee...
