have had an import wagon for just over a month, its just been imported, but seem to get a burning smell when its warmed up, temp gauge stays normal, just wondered if anyone has had simalar problem, car runs well but cant get my head round the slight burning smell. thanks fellas

No it shouldnt have any burning smell, I would suggest a health check at your local speciallist asap (auto technica in buxton).

It could have an oil leak thats dripping on to the exhaust manifold,
Mine was leaking from drivers side rocker cover and making a burning smell.

as above mate have a look for any oil dripping onto your manifold and get it sorted out asap

as above rocker covers tend to sweat and give off a burning smell. or check that there are no japs hiding in your engine bay from when it was imported that are on fire

thanks guys, it smells a bit like an overheating smell if you get me, but gauge is fine, its still under warranty so gona go back tomoz and show him.

I just bought a new one and i pulled over after 25mins to mess about and smoke was slowly coming outa cooler, Its calmed down now, but worried me a bit.

its just bedding itself in.

Alls fine now after 4 days

But if its 2nd hand,
