It took a good few years for me to twist her arm into getting my subaru , she hated them until I insured her and she took it out , she absolutely loves driving it altho still not in love with its looks . She has come full circle as it wasn't that long ago she was saying i wouldn't be seen dead in one . Lol
Anyone else experienced something similar ?

Definitly. She absolutely hated it when I suggested it, but she wanted a 4 door car and since it was my money, she accepted it. She drove it to work a couple of days where I was away and many many MANY guys almost broke their necks trying to keep staring at whe while she drove by. After that, she absolutely loved it

same here mate , the missis hated the rear spoiler and the colour (silver)
then when we went for our weekly food shopping trip she was impressed with the boot space and when she drove it home she loved the way it took off when she put her foot down
now she loves it

My wife is too scared to drive my M3 but she loves driving my Subaru
I used to have a Legacy single turbo and she loved that and now she loves driving my Impreza
The other week I got her to drive it to Windsor (30 miles away) and when we there she asked me if I wanted to drive back so I replied "not if you want to" and she drove back as well, that says a lot
She isn't into cars at all but she likes driving Subaru's

She doesnt like the big rear spoilers and wr blue with gold wheels was a definate no no , So i compromised and got wr blue with anthracite wheels . Oh and the big spoiler (it is my car after all ) .
We're saving up for our wedding so most my spare cash is going into that but on the sly my mate is ordering me bits and bobs to his house and paying on his card whilst i pay him cash and then sneakily fitting them
