Been waiting for 7 mths for a remap only for a very helpful Duncan from race dynamic's to turn up at my workshop with a 97-98 simtec (3 plug) not the myoo(4 plug) as required.

After alot of oh s***, there was nothing we could do but postpone it till this coming friday, i felt bad for him having driven since the crack of dawn to get to mine only to find out it was all in vain.

Thanks to duncan for sorting my boost problem boosting 1bar now, he says he will get it up to 1.3bar and definatly bring the correct ecu with him this friday.

I would just like to say what a very helpfull guy he is and look forward to this friday 7 more days wait wont hurt ,good things come to those that wait..!

 

how did he sort your boost problem?

 

having my jdm uk fuel map done by him next sunday so I am also having to wait a week, but hopefully will be worth it

 

duncan remapp my 03 wrx and all can say is the nuts ...top bloke and knows what he doing with scoobys

 

I'm meeting him tomorrow for a stage 1 remap on my wrx so I have my fingers crossed for good figures.

 

Can I ask why your not using Andy f when your from Aberdeen, Without a shadow of a doubt He is the man when it comes to mappin scoobs.

 

the small pipe coming off the t peice has a restrictor pill in it but according to duncan the pipe was blue and the wrong pill so changed that and now boosting 1bar tdo4l.

 

I'm meeting him in Perth tomorrow. I chose not to go for the ekutek and Duncan was up this way. Yeah heard good things about Andy f aswel although didn't fancy the ekutec. That's all.

had the same issues when on my first map with ESL, but went for the simtec and all good , having antilag+launch fitted on the 12th, duncan you must be catching me up on miles i do in a week .

 

Be good to get it all sorted. Duncan doesn't half get about does he.

It is gutting when things like this happen, good things come to those who wait, and you will have a smile on your face when its done

 

It will be well worth the wait. Duncan fettled my hawkeye WRX a few weeks ago and the diffrence is astonishing!!! The car will be getting another tweek from him at some point in the future when I'm de-catted and sports catted. :-)

 

what issues did you have with the ESL board?

 

Duncan is an absolutely top guy and really knows what he's doing. Would highly recommend him to anyone :-)

 

i had a smile on my face just changing the boost pipe to the correct one now boosting a 1bar instead of 0.6bar no wonder it only made 202hp at corten miller, yes will be alright soon cant wait.

 

just small issue of map sensor (traking the right one down) but the simtec come with one.
