Default How much can i drive......

...............around as i have just put all my goodies on the car ready for dynamix on thursday.

I have , today put in.... sti pinks, walbro fuel pump, new samco top and bottom rad hoses ( top one had split ), mud flaps and prosport 3 guage pack with defi style pod..... and breathe.

Now i have put the pinks on to what extent can i drive around as i have had all the water out and need to run in, to work out the air lock and to see if it throws up any faults..

Oh and have a cuscos catch can to fit too but cant find anywhere to fit it under the bonnet as the pic with the can shows where the washer botte is???????

any help is welcome, cheers ppl

Be ok to drive off boost till thursday. will be runnin a wee bit rich, so just stay off boost and you'll be fine...

Kepp it off boost you may use a bit more fuel. I drove from Lincoln to Lancaster to get mine mapped after fitting new turbo and fuel system. Just kept it off boost and had no issues.

Ok cool, Wont be driven until thursday..... really just need to see if any faults have been thrown up!

#what sort of temp should the oil be at?

As said you will be fine driving off boost. It will run rich to start with and feel groggy but closed loop fueling should correct that pretty quickly.

Be very useful to drive it in fact to make sure that there are no leaks from the injectors or turbo pipes.

Oil temp will be around 85c I would hve thought.
