Hi there which i know,these are good as K&N.
I know few friends which used the Simota on different cars and are happy(my friend have Type R and use everytime only Simota).
I'm not sure,are these panel filters(Simota)cleanable?

 

yes mate they are ,they are the cotton gauze type ,lightly oiled

 

 

good enough for API to fit them so i think the answer is yes

 

i have had one fitted on mine for the last 30k with no issues whatsoever

 

did it make any difference at all ?

 

i called scoobyworld when i was gonna buy a filter for mine ,

they still recommended the green one

 

API fitted one to my motor when they rebuilt it and it looks easily as good as K&N.

 

i think so, however it was on a service so generally the car was running better due to fresh oil etc. anyway.
