Default induction or not?

Why is it prefered to run a panel filter rather than a induction cone filter if runing a MAF ?

Because the standard air box is more than capable unless you plan on running alot of bhp.

Some MAFs are weak, they die easily if misused and when they go, can allow the engine to destroy itself. Excess vibration, poor filtration and oil from the fliter on the hot wire are all problems

SOME induction kits aid the MAF in dying. Best not to risk it.

Plus you will need a re-map if you fit an induction kit.
