Insurance Joke!
coming up to my 3rd year of insurance with a Subaru in the first year of having it i paid around £900 (fully comp) second year this rose to around £1300.....
this year ive just looked on confused and go compare and best i can get it £2600 ! only thing thats changed is im now 25 and ive now 5 years NCB im not due for renewal till end of April but this is a little scarey !

i went with greenlight mate. was lookin at 1500 until they quoted 670. try them on website an will email u

cheers i just dont understand the rise id understand if i'd been done for speeding or crashed at some point ...

Some companies just don't want to insure under 30 year olds, or performance cars, so are increasing their rates to push people away.

try greenlight, they where far and away the best for me

i had a civic coupe 1.6 DOHC before my scooby and i was paying £600 then it risen to £1800 so i sold it as i couldnt afford the insurance being a student so i brought a classic which im paying £900, yeeey
im really scared at what the renewal will be.

Just insured my new catalunya and i'm paying 500 quid fully comp with esure but its a uk model and i'm 30 so that does make a difference.

ive written off for a quote at Keith Michaels before hearing about Moley but he asked for a pm on my details which he now has !

tell me about it, just popped on compare the market and stuck in all the same mods from before the car went off the road except adding in my uprated brakes and coilovers, 30yrs old 9yrs NCB and the best of the 3 quotes that came back was £1700 ffs!!! Was about £680 a year and a half ago with A-Plan.
Will need to get on the dog and bone once I finnish work on Thursday

I never bother with t'internet come renewal time, quotes are a joke. Speak to same companies by phone and you generally get MUCH better prices.

Even though the insurance comparison sites said Elephant would cost a fortune for me, I rang up and they were easily the cheapest.
The comparison sites aren't always that accurate in my experience.
