Hello all

I've managed to pick up a set of p1 wheels on here but they've had a cheap Nasty refurb.

I was wondering if any one can recommend a company in the south east and give me a rough price on a set of 4.

Also the people I have spoke to so far have said they'll only wArranty them fo a year. Has anyone had any problems after a refurb?

Ultra professional workshops - they do all the Porsche and BMW dealers wheels etc etc.

Dip all the wheels, cracktest, reface, prime, any colour combination or stock.

Did my BBS 18" rims at £ 70 a corner - better than new. Very happy with the results.

And they are 3 mins walk from the BR station if you need to leave your car and pick up later.

Had the guys in Nottm do the wife's 17"s on the Focus.. £55 a corner (inc removal of tyre and refit/balance)
Top job, as they strip down and powerder coat.... all done in the same day!

Cheers all. Much appreciated. I've done a lot of phoning around today and everyone seems to say the same thing, I.e dipped in acid/taken back to the aluminium, powder coated and then lacquered.

The only prob is the best warranty I've been offered is 12 months.
