I take it noise restrictions will most likely be tighter this year at SSO?
Hmm I like the idea of the drag series, but I wouldn't win anything as I fall in the 11.3 bracket with my 12.2! Unless I go slow, but what's the point in that?

No way am I slowing down for bracket racing. It's all about going as fast as possible!
scooby kid - last year is was £70, for what would have been 1/4 mile, top speed and handling circuit. But the weather ruined that idea ! I believe there is a sound limit of 106db also, which is a bit pants

Ok thankyou,
are there classes for like road going/track?
The top speed run would be ****e for me as still using my orignal wrx gearing which i belive is a max of 140mph?

No idea about your gearing, yes there are classes. Think they are standard, modified and pro?

Really? Only 100db? That's odd, your car is a lot louder I would have thought? I can't say I want to chance it though. I wonder if they would just not allow me to run?

they'll just stick you in the pro class like they did with turbo tez. also bring a bung just in case like i did. mine read bang on 101db at 4k rpm, they said they would monitor me as i went round but they didnt.. lol

Yeah mine is completely 3" too.. pfft why does an airfield have to have noise limits I don't want to risk going and having to use the bung in all honesty! As I want to do more track days I intend to buy a quieter exhaust system anyways, but only for track days. The Nur Spec would come back on for day to day
