Interesting. Has this been confirmed anywhere? I am planning to enter this year, once I have a quieter exhaust of course

I take it noise restrictions will most likely be tighter this year at SSO?

Hmm I like the idea of the drag series, but I wouldn't win anything as I fall in the 11.3 bracket with my 12.2! Unless I go slow, but what's the point in that?

That's bracket racing for you, turn the boost down to compete @ 12.3 If your not interested in winning/points go for broke

We are only Jan mate, sure they will set it all up soon for entry

No way am I slowing down for bracket racing. It's all about going as fast as possible!

scooby kid - last year is was £70, for what would have been 1/4 mile, top speed and handling circuit. But the weather ruined that idea ! I believe there is a sound limit of 106db also, which is a bit pants

106db is for Pro cars, 101 for normal stuff. But saying that my drag car was only 100 @ TOTB and Shootout and that's loud as you know mate.

No idea about your gearing, yes there are classes. Think they are standard, modified and pro?

Really? Only 100db? That's odd, your car is a lot louder I would have thought? I can't say I want to chance it though. I wonder if they would just not allow me to run?

Yeah mine is completely 3" too.. pfft why does an airfield have to have noise limits I don't want to risk going and having to use the bung in all honesty! As I want to do more track days I intend to buy a quieter exhaust system anyways, but only for track days. The Nur Spec would come back on for day to day

Considering they have just lost their appeal, i would imagine noise will be more carefully monitored this year.
