engine in or out
hello im currantly in two minds weather to take my engine out and wonder if you all could help me deside
i hav a 98 uk spec and am starting next weekend to fit a fmic, vf28, rad and decat pipes also going to be heat wraping manifold and downpipe
now my engine bay is ditched lol so should i just pull the lump out clean it and tart it up a bit, paint a few bits
or
struggle like **** to do it all with the engine in and live with a grubby engine and probly not do as good a job
plus i think it wod make the job easyer in the long run if i took it out. . . . . or would i end up regretting it
oh by the way i have use of my outher car so would not cause isues in that respect

i would leave it where it is and just get some brushes and good cleaner and clean round the engine no point taking it all out messing around with coolant when putting it back messing up loom if it aint broke leave it lol

i think you have made your mind up really to pull it out.
And yes will make easier to do your said jobs plus clean engine bay area. but you may wanna consider clutch condition as a minimum and flywheel spiggot bearing. And total minimum of changing rear crank seal.

yea thanks mate think its cumein out will be cheacking clutch and flywheel also
is the rear crank seal a common fault then mate?

depends on how u drive, mines runing standard clutch at 275bhp no slips no issus but in many scooby drivers eyes i drive it like a girl lol. Harder driven cars wont last as long with standard clutch.
