Don't be too down trodden, mines dropped nearly £500. Like for like quote from Adrian flux to Keith Michaels, and hell, this new one from KM will include me a 3rd party driver for other cars.
I do drop 3 points this year (5 years already), and another years no claims.
Shop around, there are some good prices.
FWI, 26yrs London, 03 STI with 357bhp - £1300 Fully Comp.

Mine went up on my 03 WRX from £750 to £930 this year, shopped around , moved from Zurich to Admiral on a multicar policy with the wifes. FYI 34 years old, 8 years no claims, no points, 20k miles a year policy, declared as a business use car which upped it by about £150, and all my mods declared too. Gary is very very busy, I tried him 5 times and left him 3 messages and 2 PM's on here iirc, but he never came back to me, so he must have very happy customers ;P.

Lucky buggers, i can't get insured on a Subaru STi Import.
Il just wait til im over 25 as should be reasonable then,
Can't justify paying more then £700-800 for insurance.
Since age of 18, i've paid
Year 1 = £700 Saxo VTR
Year 2 = 1100 20 years old Civic VTi 1.6
Year 3 = £650 (had a civic 1.8 vti-s group 15 - later changed to a Civic Type R EP3 added £40 a month)
My renewal for the civic type r is around £1500 from comparison sites so i might sell it and wait a year til im 25 and go for a 1998-2001 2.0litre-2.5litre Bmw/mercedes as i've had a few in between/during insurance policies and they were very cheap to insure.

Try APlan. I spoke with a guy called Lee (01635 879910 ask for him from this number) in their imports division. Specialises in imported Scoobies. I got mine for £1050!!! That's a saving of £450 from my worst quote and £150 off next best. All mods declared and full value of vehicle sorted just 2 days ago!
It's well worth trying Gary at KM also. A very big help indeed. In the end just go for the best one!

I'm 32 with over 10years NCB and only 1x SP30. Went with Adrian Flux last year and paid just under £800 all mods declared. Has gone up slightly this year so I will be hunting around.
Already had an online quote from Aviva and the price was £430, but I need to phone them as you can only list upto 4 mods on their website. Shouldn't be much more though.
Might give Sky a call as they seem to be quite popular on here at the moment.
