To Be honest. The P1 an the RB5 have both had their anniversary days at Prodrive.
It was a excellent day.
All the best an i hope it turns out to be a cracking day once all organised

While we have 2 experts on the thread why does the McRae edition come in that colour and why does it have the Recaro interior? I always had a soft spot for the McRae editions but they are rare

I didn't know that, I thought the only edition endorsed by Colin was the McRae edition.

It's good to get a bit of history on the McRae editions because I don't actually know much about them.
Thanks

I didn't know Prodrive re-trimmed them, Prodrive have done some stunning Recaro seats but I didn't realise that they also trimmed them When you say that about the colour I guess you are talking about that being the first road car he drove? Did Colin actually have a McRae edition?

And yes Colin did own a McRae which he bought a few months before the tragic accident :-(

That adds to the mystery of why the McRae was DBM and not 53c then Has Colin's one been sold on again?
I knew the series McRae was a rare car but I didn't realise so few were built! Do you know how many still survive? Wasn't Colin given one at the time of launch? Also wouldn't it have been 96 they released them if he won the 95 title?
