Trade in price for 55 plate Blob STi PPP
Am in a position where I need to sell my Blob STi PPP 55 plate and tested the water with it today against a BMW 320D M Sport on a 57 plate. I was VERY surprised he would offer me 10k as a trade against the BMW (£10,795)
I really DON'T want to part with the STi as it is absolutely superb. But, Times are getting hard at Frost Towers and I need to make sacrifices
Should I or shouldn't I? LOL

Am having a test in the BMW Tomorrow morning. Car is black with full BM service history, New run flats, 1 owner. 94k miles is the only down side though. When I went into his office he had models of Blob STi's eveywhere LOL
If the car checks out ok and subject to test drive a deal should be done.

If you're after a diesel BMW, the 330d with a remap is supposed to be pretty good.

Well, The deed was done this afternoon and it is a very sad day. No longer an Impreza owner
Whilst I was there, 2 other Scooby's were in for trade in. Another 2005 STi and a Blob WRX PPP. Must be something in the air at the moment........................................
What I traded it in for.....

Both very nice cars in their own right, my advice is ditch the runflats though. I've just come back to Subaru after 2 years in a BMW, I miss the refinement of the BMW and the build quality but the performance of my STI makes up for it
I would have kept the BM but the final straw was after it had been parked up for 2 weeks unable to move because of the snow, spending 3 hours digging it out and getting as far as my next door neighbour
Strangley enough the dealer where I traded in had took 6 BMW's in part ex that weekend against Imprezas and a couple of 4x4's

That's the only thing I am worried about. I had a set of Winter tyres put on in November and they were awesome. Where I live is a small village with a few hills and I never once got stuck. Whereas, I saw many a BMW stuck and abandoned all over the village. May have to invest in some snow socks.

Looks good may be going same route later this year if we have another little one. Out of interest what mileage/sh did yours have and any mods? Know i won't get anything near hours but have an 05 sti ppp with just over 70k and few choice mods such as bc coilovers.
Anyway hope your liking the new beast all the best!

you got a cracking deal there cant see him staying in buiness for long! unless he had a huge mark up on the bmw..........that sort of part x would of rang alaram bells for me as your car books in at 7k trade and 8.5k to sell. Did you have the bm inspected?

Cracking trade in good dealings Mr F!! I believe if you check their website now they have the other 2 scoobs on there that you saw although not sure where yours is? Maybe had a buyer lined up ready to pay top dollar? Although the 2 scoobs dont seem stupidly priced so you got a good price for yours!! Hope your still liking the BMW!

Amazing price Part/Ex. - it would have made me very suspicious however, the sums don't add up unless somethings wrong somewhere ...... enjoy the Diesel, it's the way forward until Electric catches up

Thats a different one i believe. The OP was a 55 the one on the web is an 05 and i believe in the background in the pics above. Stil not a bad price for an 05 as thats roughly what id be looking for mine.

Just off hermitage lane at the back of screwfix.
PSL, before I got the sti I used to have a mk4 golf pd150 which I had mapped to 204bhp. Absolutely incredible car which I owned for 7 years. Only sold it cause the sti caused an itch I had to scratch lol.
