Widest Tyres on a 05 JDM ?

Widest Tyres on a 05 JDM ?

It's tyre change time for the rears on my car; which currently have 235/45s (when I bought it) on the standard 17" BBS rims.

Does anyone know if they're the standard width for these cars ?
There's quite a price hike from 225 to 235, so I was wondering if it'd make much difference ?

JDM's came with 235/45R17 and Type UK's came with 225/45R17.

as above 235s were standard spec on jdm cars , its hard to find the re070s in this size so alot of people go for the 225s
