You have to constantly monitor their prices as everything is always in the sale with additional discounts which change weekly normally in order bit like MFI use to do. Have learnt over the years with childrens bikes! It's also worth knowing there is a website somewhere you can buy halfords vouchers at 10% off. But unless you need them to fit it agree with the above you will always find it cheaper on line.

Why is this such a weird surprise?
Right or wrong, loads of companies have different online and instore prices. If you've checked it's best to either reserve/buy online for store collection to be safe that you are going to pay the lesser price, especially as prices can change so quickly (either store or online). I'm not trying to be funny here, and as a rule I'm no fan of Halfords, but this is not uncommon practice.
I ordered a couple of phones online a while back (tesco fwiw) and only did so because of a massive difference beween that price and instore, as usually I'd prefer to just go to a shop and buy what I want/need. It's the same in a local computer store, their online prices are quite a bit lower than instore.
It may seem like madness, but it happens all over the place.
