I would add
For people going this route, you need to also think about the big torque an engine like that makes and double your budget to include a six speed box a decent clutch and big brakes to cope with it all.

The O/E pistons need changed before you do much atall. The rods MAY be safe to 450 bhp, perhaps a little less and to avoid head gasket issues beyond that you need to look at head fastening.
The block itself????
I have seen plenty with oval bores at not a lot of boost.

My understanding is that the unmodified block is good for a circa 450/450 car (assuming appropriate supporting bits) e.g. Rods, Pistons, head studs etc... and a turbo running sensible levels of boost. Beyond that and you're in the realms of uncertainty.
