Highway Code According to Dave
#1
"would that be the highway code according to dave" is my wife's favourite comment these days.....
she is basically suggesting that I have one set of rules for myself and another set for the rest of the road using public...
So the Highway Code According to Dave is:
Queue jumpers should be banned, unless I'm jumping the queue
Speeding drivers should be jailed, unless I'm speeding
Rear foglight fiends using foglights when it's not foggy should be hung drawn and quartered....
unless
Front fog light fiends should be blinded by my rear foglights
Max Power cars should be sent to the car park in the sky... period..
It is unacceptable for a car not to give way to me while I am reversing out of my drive
People who do not wave their thanks deserve to suffer total and catyclismic engine failure...
Keeping to the 70mph speed limit on a motor way in the overtaking lane is dangerous and the driver should face a heavy fine and 6 points on their licence....
Anyone tailgating me should be subject to a brake test at any time determined by myself... however the same rule does not apply if (on the odd occasion) I am tailgating someone else...
the police are doing a good job catching speeding motorists.... until they catch me, at which time they should start catching proper criminals
the list goes on and on and on and on....
so I shant bore you further..
