Default Insurance - manchester 'M' postcode

Just got of the phone with Jeremy at Keith Michaels, very helpful and candid, I was told that the 'M' postcodes are virtually uninsurable due to the number of theft and personal injury claims - he mentioned a significant number of personal injury claims were thought to be deliberately caused. My renewal price has jumped up from 680 to over 1700!!! Has anyone in the area found a decent quote - if so who from?

You need to speak with Gary Moulson (Moleywrx on here) at KM, no one else there tbh.
You also have Chris@A-plan and a few more in the insurance section.

Presumably your house was cheap so use the mortgage saving to pay for increase in car insurance

I find it ridiculous, it seems anywhere with an M postcode is treated the same. Manchester is a big place its not all like the Chatsworth estate and episode of Shamless

Best i got for the past 3 years has been Admiral, worth a try.

yep, i am with admiral. I tend to flip back and forth between them and Bell. even though they are part of the same group, they tend to give very competitive rates against each other
