Default lambda sensors

i wondered if anyone can shed some knowledge please (prob simple ) i have a bugeyed gx 2000 are both before and after oxygen sensors the same ?
and when inspecting underneath the dash found a green plug disconnected so being a boy i connected them which set both fans running on the engine and the amber engine light flashing like a good un and when disconnected the fans stop but the amber light stays on steady only had the car a week for a runaround to and from work and love it but i think there might be some thing nasty wrong and thats why its been disconnected

Thats the test conectors for testing the fans and boost control solinoid.
You will have done no damage conecting the green wires, strange how the light stayed on.
Best to disconnect the battery for a bit ,that should reset the light.

Im pretty sure they are both the same, one is before cat and one is after.
Someone should be able to give you a better answer as never had to change any on that year.
What makes you think your lambda is faulty?

P0136 Indicates that there is a problem with the wiring or the sensor that is fitted after the catalyst.
