![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
......so a colleague informs me he could be changing his Scoob in July/Aug this year for a BMW 330D or 335D estate (fool
). At the moment I've got a verbal first refusal on buying his Scooby.
It's a MY00 UK supplied Turbo 2000 saloon with air con, almost totally unadulterated the only mods are Tarox drilled discs + pads and I think he had PowerStation do the bumpsteer mod. It is also immaculate, the alloys and body work are like new. I know all the history for the car, it has never been crashed, serviced religiously, he doesn't really drive it to the limit, and a mere 70k miles on it.
I bought mine on the basis of a trip out in his, but unfortunately it didn't have such an easy life and eventually it got wrote off. I've missed it loads since the insurance recovery people took it away forever
So this is a very tempting propersition.
I suspect he may be wanting somewhere around £4k for it due to how pristine it is, worth it? Maybe offer £3.5k? After all I would be saving him the hassle of advertising it etc.

£3K and thats because he's a mate.
£2 - £2.5K is the going rate.
He can ask £4K but he may not get much response - its all down to how much anyone is prepared to pay and how long the seller wants to spend getting rid.

Fair enough, bit out of the loop when it comes to Scoob prices. I'll see what he wants for it if & when he get the BMW, then negotiate.
