richard thanks mate you may have come up trumps for me!!! they have just written off a 1993 wrx and mine is a 1994 wrx so they should be the same bearing in mind there auto so i would 100% say there the same diff units carnt imagine them changing after 1 year.

i wont mate, if it comes off it will save time and money just be a straight swap. wont take long at all. but if not they will have to make the parts up and it will take a week or so. great! its alreday been 2 week not even done nothing.
