I can't be-lieve that is real and not some ace bit of 'VideoShop-ing' !

If it is, it's inch-perfect but there are no skid marks visible (on this low-res clip) and you often see 'extra' skid marks in films where is it obvious that they have rehearsed the stunt.

It looks dry but sometimes they hose the streets down to make cars slide more dramatically and have even heard that they can rig up a spray system to lubricate the tyres and produce more tyre smoke as desired.

PS. I believe ET is a real alien though

If you look closely there are a few skid marks, just near the back wheel as it spins. I was convinced just then, that they filmed it in reverse - i.e. he drives out, spins (somehow), then reverses off, but nah

What I want to know is, how does the driver know there is a space there when she/he starts the handbrake as it is a blind bend?
