Hi. I've changed front and rear shocks on my V2 Sti a couple of months ago. I bought a Kayaba Excel-G from Camskill, I think I paid £120 delivered per pair Brand New. These are standard replacement so NOT Sti's. These are absolutely fine.

Hope this help a bit.

I had changed mine about 2 years ago, for standard, and of course brand new, I also added some lowering springs, and boy what a difference.

My car is also a MY00, so getting on a bit.

But as above say, don't buy second hand, don't know the history, and also might be worse then what you got due to age and wear.

I know they are more expensive but I bought the KYB AGX and mated them to red P1 Eibachs.

They are awesome.
