WHO'S RUNNING Major_Sarcasm CHIP with FMIC ???
Hi Guys. How many of You Guys are running FMIC with Major_Sarcasm CHIP fitted ? My car, V2 Sti, is fitted with one of these Chip's and I was thinking to get FMIC instead of TMIC but not sure if this will be safe.
My mods:
- CHIP
- K&N 57i IK
- NGK PFR 7B's spark plugs
- 100 cels sports cat downpipe (heat wrapped) and decatted centre section
- HKS Turbo Timer
Car has standard injectors (380cc).
Also I've got a few parts that are waiting to be fitted such as:
- Exedy Uprated Clutch Kit (Pink Box) BIG Thanks to Mark from Lateral Performance
- Lightweight Flywheel 6Kgs ( Lateral Performance) :-)
- Walbro 255 fuel pump (Lateral Performance)
- Whiteline rear drop links (Scoobyparts) Thank You Tim
- Set of Brand New EIBACH P1 lowering springs - "Woodbutch" TOP BLOKE !
Sorry....
So what do You guys think, should I get one fitted (FMIC) or not ?
I know that REMAP is the best option but cannot afford to spend £700 at the moment.
Cheers

personally i wouldnt fit the fmic without a remap.
the map on the chip was not designed for a fmic. that does not mean to say that it will not function safely with a fmic. madscoob has done it.
