Default I may or may not have broken something...

Interestingly, I seem to have created a small issue with the car that's leaving me scratching the old noodle.

The car now seems to have a sound not dissimilar to air seeping out of something. It's coming from the passenger side somewhere towards the front. Boost seems to be holding fine, and it's only present when moving (no difference made on coasting, or under load). Not there when idling, or reving while at a standstill.

It increases with speed, and decreases when slowing.

Had a nosey under the bonnet and can't see anything loose or that has come off.

It's possible it's only started after a 5K launch last night. Ahem.

Anyone got any thoughts at all as to what it could be?

If it's only happening when you're under way I'd take a good look at the front caliper/disk and maybe even the bearing.

Doesn't like a bearing, but will check the calipers. All are pretty new, so i'll be pissed off its either of those

When I had a short shifter fitted to a 5 speed a while back it sounded like that. Try putting your old one back in and see what happens to the noise.

Had this, turned out to be plastic bumper thingy you stick on the doors to stop chipping the paint work when opening, removed problem solved.
