whats it worth? sti type-r wrc limited v6
Hi
Over the last couple of months ive been thinking of selling my type-r for something a bit more practical, with the cost of running these cars going through the roof i just dont think i can afford to keep running and maintaining it to the standard it deserves any longer.
ive only owned it around 18months which have been a nightmare tbh with the engine letting go, then turbo and clutch. The engine was rebuilt by api only around 4k miles ago, ive also modded it a little, i will give details below, im just not really sure what the car is worth and what to ask for if i decide to sell up.
v6 sti type-r wrc limited

api lightened flywheel
api 3inch downpipe
new tdo5 18g turbo from harvey
550 injectors from harvey
3port from harvey
cobra sport 3inch exhaust system

Mileage, condition etc will all play a part in how much the car is worth, you may have had an engine rebuild but if the rest of the car has say 100k on the clock then there is a fair bit of wear in there

£8,500.
I know as I just sold mine & have been keeping an eye on the prices of these & Ver6 Type R's.
The ones that sold for £6.5k were not to such a standard as what tri'so spec is or mine.
