Default Big shout to Alyn @ AS Performance

for once again coming to my rescue on "fuel pumps" realted issues! With help/guidance from John Stevenson all has now been resolved.

Have used Alyn now for sometime, I must admit he is able to do or supply virtually anything from oils, parts, engine rebuilds to "one off" mods! Pricing and Customer Service is second to none! He makes a good cuppa too!

Thanks Alyn for making my trip to yours worthwhile!

That's it! That's 2 bloody southerners that's been to Alyn's recently and had cuppas! I've been there bloody loads of times and never had one.

Never, ever again am I recommending Alyn to anyone!

Well until the next time anyone asks for a recommendation and maybe I should actually ask Alyn to put the kettle on.

Alyn's been very helpful since I've had my car, service is always second to none.

Next time you go there just say:
'How come you're so good at fixing cars but you can't fix a broken kettle?'

I was a lil cheeky when I asked Alan if he had one of those plastic bags he uses to put spare washers/nuts in.....So Alyn passed me a pretty biggish bag.....The look on Alyn's face when I started filling it with the roses was fantastic!

Think it is only right to detail up what Alyn @ AS Performance actually did for me.....

After conjuring up calipers for Clive (MadHammer), I asked Alyn if he could do something on replacing my fuel pumps set up for twin bosches....in tank giving me extra headroom for any possible future upgrades.

I wasn't too keen on having a pot in the rear and so it was a "in tank" solution only. It wasn't as straight forward as one would think given my current set up did not have the wiring upgrade to run the bigger bosches and given the actual sizes of the bosches against what I had been running (walbros).

Alyn asked if I could leave it with him and within a couple of weeks he conjured up this....not something seen too often....and what you could call a "unique solution"!

Left are walbros (what i had been using) against my new twin bosches in tank fit on the right...

Thank you Alyn for coming up with a customised solution for my requirement....one shop stop (supply and fit the bosches!) I would describe!

I must also thank and show my appreciation to John Stevenson on his wiring expertise skills which were utilised on this mini project!

I would whole heartedly recommend anyone to give Alyn a call if they are interested in a similar set up as this is something unique and tidy leaving lots of space in the boot.

Alyn is one of my official sponsors this year and has already helped me out loads, the bespoke lightweight brake kit for my drag car was a perfect fit. Alyn now has it sorted to repeat if anyone fancies the same.

Also found out I have a special Smaritan service today by text so I can send him MMS messages when I need parts I can't describe properly
