Default BRAKES

Got a bit of a dilemma guys, cant decide what brake set up to go for. Will be doing my engine build by the summer hopefully but before i do that i want to get the suspensions set up done along with my brakes.

Do i stay with my standard Brembo's and just uprate the disks and pads
OR
Do i upgrade the calipers to and go down the route of AP's, TAROX or D2 Racing or something similar

Will be doing a few tracks days here and there etc and just driven on the road for weekends etc

Any recomendations

Depends on budget

I have refurbed brembos, PF discs and pads, etc and that's a pretty good setup

How much power are we talking here?

Performance friction discs and pads on the Brembos work well for fast road and track by all accounts.

If you want the best, AP 6 pot formula brake kit is the way to go, but that's £££

I would say Brembo are good with good discs(Performance Friction) and Pads(Ferodo DS2500 or EBC Blue Stuff NDX) you have good brake setup.
If you want spent i would go with AP Racing or K-Sport 8 pots 356mm or check Ian Goodney@Godspeed here which now testing and manufacture 8 pot set for reasonble money..

I was going to stick with brembo's if i could and just paint them anyway but wasnt sure if they faded alot or not when using them quite a bit.
I had D2 Racing 8pots and 6pots on my old classic and loved them, and got them for £1800 front and rear which i didnt think was too bad
