Default Hawkeye! What remapped boost you running???

I was just interested to see what sort of boost pressure you had mapped to, must be with standard internals with the 2.5 litre uk engine

I will start it off with mine;
1.4 bar running a safe map 340/360.

Cheers Gonzo.

1.7bar peak on mine.... but that is a JDM Hawkeye which is 2ltr.

I assume yours is a UK 2.5? If so forget what I said above!

I would suggest that your current boost level is about there then!

Think mine is about the same. Clutch started slipping when we were mapping it so wouldn't take anymore.

Please remember it is not all about boost..... ignition plays a big part in power also. No point in comparing boost targets imo when you don't know the ignition timing.

Iirc yours I mapped a couple of years back and at the time there was all the hatchback 2.5 going pop and you wanted it very safe.

The amount of boost run will vary from car to car and spec and more boost doesnt always mean more power within reason.

If you want more power from it now just pop it up to dyno when I am there and I will increase power and torque for nothing as a long term customer just the cost of the dyno £75 as its not my dyno else that would be free too.

JGM top man !

I don't envisage exceeding 1.5 on mine although IIRC the boost cut is raised to 1.6.

offer extends to any car I have mapped before and if spec hasn't changed on the car and you bring it to the where I am mapping already etc.. even if I road mapped it, I will happily check it and try and get more out of it on the dyno if wanted.

If mods have changed then thats different.

I had mine remapped to 1.35 peak IIRC. Delta dyno'd at 348 and 380ft lbs

But wanted a bigger turbo on it and that means better internals a UK hawk.

Now running in a SC46 on forged internals..... torture.... but when the final map is put on....
