Have you ever used a paddle clutch before? If not then don't go there, horrid things to use and very on/off (plus more strain on your transmission).

Agree with Tony. ACT make some great high power application clutches without needing to resort to a paddle

With a forged 2.2 twin scroll set up using a vf36or vf37 you will have power around 350-370bhp. Torque will be around the same 360 lb ft. Neither above figures will kill or slip a genuine pink box organic clutch kit. And you will still have nice daily driving with clutch. Whoever marketing 450bhp with vf36/37 turbo on 2.2 not doing you any favours as will lead to big let down.

As above. Either on/off type thing.

But only in traffic as in 1st gear. After that they are ok. Some people dont mind them.

I have a 4 puck paddle, and i can tell you it's not great for a daily. Not as bad some people make out, but can be an utter ball ache if you get stuck in traffic, or need to park.

Shame you're not close as I would have said you could take mine for a spin to see what it's like

I would be realistic with the power output, if you think you'll be below 400/400, best to go with an normal uprated organic clutch kit.

Much cheaper and nicer to drive
