Keith Michaels, ask for Gary Moulson, he's a good chap and will do the best he can. Subaru specialist.
Otherwise try A-Plan

Insurance has gone up a fair bit, but I got good quotes from sky insurance and also Keith Michaels.

I went with Keith Michaels in the end. Good quote all mods declared.

Good luck

Oh yea, Forgot about Keith Michaels! had my m3 insured with him, he was quite a bit cheaper than any other at the time, Thanks.
Would you say that £650 was a bit much? thought it would be more like £400 for me alone.

for a 2006 wrx With VF43, Sti TMIC, Full decat exhaust (headers & uppipe), Walbro fuel pump. K&N panel filter were £750 fully comp like for like on all mods, protected no claims, for wife and me.

So well worth trying, If you cant get through keep trying it will be worth it!!

Thanks for quick responce people, if i cant get a decent quote for the terzo, im gonna trade the GF's Lexus in and get a newer Impreza so only one insurance to pay out, cant be without one now but I do struggle to justify the costs as its a toy only, do love the old bucket though! (Impreza that is)

May sound strange but try Admiral. Insure yourself and the mrs on both cars. (Multicar policy), It worked for us.

just tried admiral, lexus is the same at £425 then with impeza, both driving both cars, £1025, so basically get the GF on for nowt, but would rather it cheaper without her on, will try it that way! shes F'ing dangerous in it anyway!! no concept of grip and two pot brake limitations!

I've just got my STD classic uk weekend car insured for £605. I'm 33 full protected NCB, mrs 27 as named driver. Always shops around but sky always come up trumps for me.

+1 - been with Gary for over 4 years now - he's a good guy, won't mess you around. Admiral et al aren't any good for modified cars.

I ran my details through Admirals multicar quote engine a few days ago.
The price of the scoob plus a Golf GTI with the g/f added equated to the same as only the scoob with me as the named driver with Direct Line - so Admiral appear to be good value.

But watch out for the small print!
The quote engine will accept mods but they will only pay out to restore the car to standard manufacturers specification.

How many people will get caught out by that one I wonder
