You really feel that that in the near future the leagcy that is Jap 4 wheel drive rally type cars will go for good.

Once again, another Jap manufacturer copying Toyota (Subaru used to do it all the time basing their styling on the Corolla).
Toyota were first to go Green/boring and drop all of their high performance cars to give a 'green' corperate image...and guess what, its doing shyte. In 2009 it made its biggest loss in 72 years The CEO (Toyoda) even admitted that the brand no longer offered anything "fun" and is now reinvestigating the relaunch of some dedicated sports cars: like the FT-86 (Interestingly with Subaru engines and RWD).
The thing is, Toyota can afford to make these kind of mistakes....Mitsubushi cannot.
