Probably....

Is it mapped already for the de-cat as that alone can cause issues. If so it's only a few £ to get your mapper to make any tweaks needed for the headers.

I would definately get the map tweaked to suit! Dependant on the headers they can have a variable impact on how the car will run and whether or not it will need remapping.

I certainly am quite happy to check general running of any car and map suitability with all my equipment for a nominal fee and advise from there. I usually then encorparate that into the map fee if you want to get it remapped.

Out of interest, why are you fitting stainless headers? I assume these are tubular?

You might get different adviceas to whether to fit them if you ask Harvey Smith.
He posts on here as harvey, sells headers, and matches headers to up-pipes and turbos, he will tell you what will work well, what will work and what will be a PITA. He also ports headers.

He will NOT sell you stuff you don't need unless you insist and any advice he gives is based on lots of research, so worth having.

Big tubular headers will not be a good idea for your TD04 turbo........some OEM headers (perhaps ported) will suffice

Likely won't need a re-map as the TD04 flows so little air.

Have a word with Harvey, who I think might be a bit poorly at the moment.

The choice of headers is more to mdo with what turbo you have, and what sort of power you want to make.

Some header/turbo combinations will bog the car down, so be careful.

As above, Harvey is poorly, but you could try Darren who might be able to advise.
