Hi Think my abs ring is damaged poss on the front, anyway took the wheel and caliper n disc off last weekend to have a look but got bit confused
Do i need to undo the big nut in the middle and remove the hub?
Any help would be good please and where should i get a new ring from if it is damaged, guessing scoobie dealer would pull my pants down.
Car is a 2002 sti prodrive btw.

 

abs tone ring for a classic cost me 138.11 from subaru in june. think there are 2 types and depends on which type how they come off i think, mine was a git and required a press to split the hub.

 

Mine went on my newage wrx 02.
It was cheaper to buy a 2nd hand Hub and fit that. With my Abs ring i needed the bearing as well.

Got a hub off here for £80.

All sorted now. Like i said tho, mines a newage. Sorry I couldn't help to much

 

I did the exact same thing with my 2 rears.

 

Dam soo looks like i gotta renew the hole hub then! Is there differences between newage n classic? and STI and WRX?

I know on mine the classic don't fit Newage. Andy Carr (mapper) told me for mine any 02-06 will fit a Newage! Not sure if wrx fit sti. With the pcd being different n all.

Try scoobyteknix. Think there called that up north west way. Blackpool/Fleetwood. On mine they sold them for £65 but didn't have any in.

I know eBay sold loads of classics when I was looking the other month.

Or put a wanted add up on here. That's what worked for me
