Ok guys, I have been trying to read the best brand for maintaining my Blue Blobeye Scooby. Washing and Wax.
I am hoping that people can shed light on both brands. Would either be ok for the Blue Mica?
Thanks very much.

I highly recommend Dodo too,
Dodo Born to be Mild Shampoo http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalo...Shampoo_1.html
Blue Velvet Wax

Whatever you do make sure you use the two bucket method with a decent wash mitt and drying towel.

Before you receive some meaningful advice we need a bit more info Lofty.
Are you simply washing then applying wax?
If so, with your car being blue, you would benefit from a carnauba based wax.
Megs Hyperwash and Shampoo Plus are both excellent shampoos.
To get the best finish you need to polish before waxing.
Autoglym SRP is fantastic applied by hand. Just use it sparingly, otherwise if you use too much you will get chalky residue. It contains a lot of fillers which will mask swirls and minor scratches.
There are other brands worthy of consideration on WR blue.
I used Poorboys Natty's Blue paste wax when I had a WR Blue Blob

It looks like the brand I went for is good and im glad its worth using on the Mica Blue. Will I be ok simply using the wax wash that came with it or are you saying it needs polishing first?
Thanks

Thanks for the info. Yes your right, I will just be washing to look after it. Im not looking to go over the top but I have gone out and bought Megs Gold class wash and wax aswell as wheel dressing and a couple of nice applying gloves. I am going to wax it tomorrow.

Ok guys so just to confirm, I have rinsed the car with water, cleaned it with Megs Gold Class Car Wash (In warm water), rinsed again with water, now its dried I need to first apply Auto Glym SRP? Once thats applied then finish it off with the Megs Gold Class Liquid Wax?
Am I right? If so I will just need to get the Auto Glym SRP.

I got gifted some Werkstatt from a very kind member on here which is better, but the price reflects it. Its not a massive improvement but if you have money to spend then this will do very nicely.

Step five is what I need to confirm is the correct process onwards.
1. Wash down with water
2. Meguiars Gold Class car wash/Conditioner with warm water
3. Wash down with water
4. Dry
5. Auto Glym Super Resin Polish buffed until see-thru with no clumps left
6. Meguiars Gold Class Liquid wax buffed then wiped off
The two processes and products im unsure about are step 5 and 6. am I right with what I am about to do? Do I need to use the Auto Glym SRP first until se-thru and then the Meg's Auto Wax?
Please help, I just want to give the best clean on the car when I do it
Thanks for any useful input.
